When to contact us?
Assistance from the moment we are contacted
We can be contacted at any point after the spinal injury has occurred, but the sooner we are contacted, the more we can help.
In many cases, we are contacted when the person affected by spinal injury is close to leaving the spinal injury centre, or has returned home. At this point we can still assist, but if we had been contacted sooner, we would have been able to work on behalf of our client to provide real benefits before they were discharged.
For those at the spinal injury centre
If we are contacted when the client is still a patient at the spinal injury centre, we are able to make arrangements for their long-term well-being. For example, we can prepare modifications to housing, supply bespoke adapted vehicles and install assistive technology in their home in preparation for their return. All of this facilitates the smooth transfer from the spinal injury centre and ensures that everything is in place for their new requirements going forward.
If we are working on behalf of the client whilst they are still a patient, we can also ensure that the correct levels of rehabilitation are being undertaken. This will help to facilitate a swift discharge from the spinal injury centre.
The sooner we are contacted the more we can help
In summary we can be contacted at any time, and will discuss how we can help regardless of the situation. However, the sooner that we are contacted the greater the level of help we can provide.
We can even be contacted if you currently have legal representation. To find out more about this please >click here.

“After my brother was injured, we as a family researched exactly what spinal injury law firms do. No matter where we looked, the same name kept appearing, Serious Law. The quality of their information, understanding and compassion is in our opinion, second to none.”
